Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

Had a bit of a 'quarter life crisis' so have made myself a new DA in an attempt to be more my own person. This is my new incentive to draw, paint and create more...hopefully it's gonna work.
Just graduated with a BA Honours Degree in Arts and Media from UCA Farnham. I specialised in Animation and Fine Art, which is why my work is pretty over the place in terms of genre or style - a bit random like myself.
Over the last year or so I have found a real passion for model making and production design, so will be uploading more of that kind of stuff in the near future ...watch this space.

that portal gun of yours is mind blowing. AMAZING work, you should make a job out of doing things like that. infact you could make movie props. i would love to see more shots of your portal gun though, keep making things like that, its amazing!
Thanks very much Yeah the props and model industry is something I definitely want to get into! Once my website is up and running, I'll put a link up as there will be more picks on there... i just didn't want to clog my gallery with loads of shots of the same artwork.

Your portal gun is amazing! I love the texture choices. When did you get the idea to make a steampunk portal gun? Well, perhaps "steampunk isn't the operative word. Retro Futuristic maybe. Does the switch work?
Yeah the switch turns the central tube on and off! Although it's a very simple piece of wiring it was such an achievement for me as I haven't built a circuit since I was back at school lol. I personally adore everything old and rusty - I like objects to tell their history - so it was a pretty logical step that my own portal gun would have to be like me too
I'm the same way. Rustic stuff has so much more information than a basic pearl white finish on a normal portal gun. Do you think you'll make more props like this?
Oh yes definitely! I reckon this is has to be the way forward for me now - had so much fun making this it didn't even seem like work at all. If I can get a career doing this that would be amazing!
